 Laura Curran

Laura, originally from San Jose, moved to Oregon in 1995, then here in September.

She has an MA degree in Special Education and held many different positions in the field. She has two daughters and three granddaughters.

Laura has visited many countries around the world, because of her love to travel. She also loves reading, walking and golfing. Welcome to the Lincsters, Laura!

   


   Kathy Kimura

Kathy moved all the way from Wilmington, NC, to Lincoln Hills 23 years ago. She has a BA degree in education and was a first grade school teacher until she went to work and retired from AT&T.

Kathy traveled often in the past, but not too much now. She has three children and six grandchildren. She loves golf, Bridge, Shanghai, and ceramics, so life is very busy with all of that. We are glad you joined the Lincsters, Kathy!

 


 Daphne Poytress


Daphne moved to Lincoln Hills in 2002 from Pine Mountain Lake. She graduated from San Jose School of Nursing in 1964 and worked there until she retired in 1998. 

Daphne was married to Dick, until he passed away in 2017. She has two children and two lovely granddaughters. Daphne loves golf and line dancing in her free time. Welcome to Lincsters, Daphne!




Joyce Watson


Joyce moved to Lincoln Hills from San Jose.  She has had various jobs, including working for Aerojet and the family business.

Joyce loves traveling in Europe and has been to seven countries there. She has a daughter and two beautiful grandchildren who live in Boise, ID. 

She loves all sports, including golf. We welcome you to the Lincsters, Joyce!


                                  




                                 FEBRUARY

  Maddie Krochak

 Maddie moved from San Diego to Lincoln     Hills in 2002.  She has a husband, two   Children and five grandchildren.  

 After college she became a District Manager   in Consumer Sales for 32 years.  She loves   traveling in the States, but not overseas.

 She loves painting, refurbishing furniture,   craft work, cooking, light entertainment and   of course golf.  Her real passion is   volunteering at an upscale thrift store,   “Renew Boutique”.  She would love   everyone to visit it. 

 We are so glad you have rejoined the   Lincsters, Maddie!




Carol Lopez

After retiring in 2005, Carol moved from San Jose to Paradise, CA. She loved it there, but unfortunately was caught in the horrific Camp Fire, and forced to relocate to Lincoln Hills in 2020.  
Carol’s career was in Property and Casualty Insurance as a licensed broker. She has a husband, daughter, son, and three grandchildren.
Her love of travel and cruising has taken her around Cape Horn and to many European countries, including frequent trips to Mexico with her family. Her other loves are camping, reading, socializing, and golf. Welcome to the Lincsters, Carol!


APRIL


Cathy Jaicks

Cathy and her husband, Fred, moved from Yuba City to Sun City Lincoln in April of 2023. 


Cathy is a licensed Architect and has been practicing for 30 years.  Cathy and her husband have three daughters.  Two of her daughters live in Tennessee and one lives in Natomas.  Cathy has two granddaughters. 


Cathy enjoys golf and watercolor painting.  She loves to walk and spend time in nature.  Welcome to the Lincsters, Cathy!


SEPTEMBER





Alison Phillips

Alison and her husband, Rob moved from Vacaville, CA to Sun City Lincoln Hills ten years ago.  Alison and Rob have four children, two sons and two daughters.  They also have a beloved 14-year-old cat named Tabby.

Alison worked in education for 25 years, 15 years in high school.

Alison's hobbies are golf, Mahjong, Hand and Foot and she enjoys reading.  Alison loves to travel.  Her favorite place is Portugal and has also traveled to Italy and London.

Alison and her husband, Rob, are members of the Sports Car Club as well as the Italian Club and the Portuguese Club.
